About Matthew
Prior to retirement, Matthew Steger was an ASHI (American Society of Home Inspectors) Certified Inspector and owned/operated a local home inspection company in the Lancaster, PA area since 2002. During that time, he inspected thousands of homes and businesses in Lancaster, Dauphin, Lebanon, York, Berks, Cumberland, and Chester Counties. He previously held a radon testing license from the PA Dept. of Environmental Protection (PA DEP) and a pesticide application license from the PA Dept. of Agriculture for pesticide application to perform WDI inspections. He also maintains an FAA Part 107 UAS license. For over 15 years, he has also taught various continuing education courses to Realtors® at the Lancaster County Association of Realtors (LCAR) and continues to do so.
In his spare time, he is a Civil War re-enactor with the 53rd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (53rd PVI), plays golf, and is a hockey and baseball fan.
He earned his Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University.
